The German Standards Committee "Steel Wire and Wire Products" (Normenausschuss Stahldraht und Stahldrahterzeugnisse - NAD) is responsible for the standardization work at national (DIN), European (CEN) and international (ISO) level in the field of alloyed and unalloyed steel wire, unalloyed steel wire products (steel wire nails, mesh wire etc.) and steel wire ropes including terminations and wire rope slings.
